Felicia's excited to join the Surgeons for Sight team as Director of Development. She recently graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in German and Spanish. During her college years she gained experience and skills serving as an intern at Grace Church in Greenville, teaching English in Villarrica, Paraguay, and working as an Administrative Assistant at Image Resource Group,among other activities. Most recently, she enjoyed being a part of the ministry at Southside Fellowship as the youth ministry intern. Felicia is looking forward to marrying her fiancé, Josh, in October and settling into their new home in Greenville. She is passionate about her God and serving Him with the gifts He has given her. She also loves spending time with her family and friends,cooking, traveling, being outdoors, and doing anything artistic. James E. Bailey, CPA - TreasurerIn addition to leading the formation and development of Surgeons for Sight, Mr. Bailey has been working with the physicians at Southern Eye to improve the patient satisfaction, operational and financial aspects of their practice. He is excited about taking his first mission trip, and is busy developing programs to provide eye care for the disadvantaged in South Carolina. James has over eighteen years of financial, operational and management experience including a six-year public accounting career with Ernst & Young. He earned his B.S. degree in Accounting from Clemson University and became a certified public accountant in 1990. James lives in Greenville with his wife and two children. |

Dr. Heitman is one of the senior partners at Southern Eye Associates and has been providing eye care for the disadvantaged and performing surgery on mission trips for many years. Kurt earned his medical degree from Southwestern Medical School, served his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center and spent time in the U.S. Air Force as an ophthalmologist and flight surgeon. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Heitman has lectured at national and international ophthalmology meetings and is past president of the South Carolina Society of Ophthalmology. Dr. Heitman’s greatest joy is his relationship with God and with his family.
Joining Southern Eye Associates in August 2009, Dr. Bostrom is excited about being back in Greenville and having the opportunity to help others through Surgeons for Sight. Jake spent his early childhood as a missionary kid in Brazil and has a passion for the Lord's work both here and abroad. After graduating from Furman University, Dr. Bostrom earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Dean McGee Eye Institute. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, AOA Medical Honor Society, and the Christian Ophthalmology Society. He is married to his college sweetheart, Cara, and they have two wonderful and spirited children, Cole and Claire. He enjoys hiking, Furman Athletics, and wrestling with his kids.
r. Williams is one of the senior partners at Southern Eye and has a passion for helping others through eye care and sharing the word of God. Brad has experienced the hard work and joy of foreign mission trips. He attended the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and served his ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Williams is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Brad lives in Greenville with his wife and 4 children and been in private practice since 1987. He is an avid outdoorsman. Dr. Williams considers ophthalmology a ministry, and his greatest desire is to please the God he serves. His greatest earthly joy is his family.
